How Can numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Hand be Treated?

Last night while watching tv, I noticed numbness & tingling in my left arm & hand. I thought it just went to sleep, but it still feels that way. Also, the outer aspect of my left hip, leg & foot are numb. I am an EMT, so I know to check for stroke signs, but my grips are equal, smile even & etc. Today, I have also experienced pain in my forearm, wrist & hand. Do you think I have pinched a nerve? I have an appointment scheduled to see my Dr. for a different reason tomorrow afternoon. Do you think it s safe to wait to have it examined until then?

Hello,

You are right, this is a pinched nerve in the cervical and lumbar spine which may have degenerative changes in the intervertebral disc. Also, using a cervical soft collar, lumbar spine brace will help along with hot water fermentation is not diabetic. Since it doesn't sound major it should recover with simple exercises for the neck and the lumbar spine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
